Evaluating complaints, requests, and reports submitted by individual or associated users and consumers regarding compliance with passenger rights under EU regulations, as well as the quality and pricing levels of services provided by regulated entities. Cases requiring further follow-up will be reported to the Surveillance and Enforcement directorate, unless otherwise specified in paragraph 2.
Carrying out preliminary activities related to passenger rights under EU regulations and relevant national sanctioning legislation, and proposing the initiation of sanctioning proceedings, when necessary. Monitoring the proper application of these regulations and overseeing the services covered by them, as outlined in the applicable provisions. Reporting quarterly to the Board on the outcomes of these activities.
Ensuring the transmission of complaints and requests to other independent administrative authorities, public administrations, or entities concerning issues within their remit.
