pagoPA

The pagoPA digital platform allows citizens and businesses to make any payments to public administrations and managers of public utility services in a more natural, modern and faster way.

The pagoPA system allows citizens and businesses to:

• choose your payment service provider (PSP);
• choose between multiple payment tools;
• choose your preferred technological payment channel;
• know the maximum costs of the operation in advance;
• have assurance that the payment amount is correct;
• immediately obtain a release receipt.

The pagoPA payment system adopted by the Authority is extended to all services, pursuant to Article 5 of Legislative Decree No 82 of 7 March 2005.

The pagoPA service can be reached through the web interface available at this link that allows payment:

• online with the Pay function;

• by payment notice, generated with the Print and Pay function and payable through both physical and online channels of banks and other PSPs, such as:
  • at bank agencies; 

• • using the home banking of the PSP (CBILL or pagoPA logos); 
  • at banks’ authorised ATMs; 
  • at points of sale of Mooney, Lottomatica and Banca 5; 
  • at post offices.

PLEASE NOTE  

Payments due to the Transport Regulation Authority are exclusively related to:

• annual contribution to the operation of the Authority;
• administrative penalties imposed by the Authority;
• fees due as a result of requests for access to administrative documents;
• other payments in response to a specific request from the Authority.

In case of payment of amounts not due or paid in excess, it is possible to submit to the Authority, within the fifth year following that in which the payment was made, a reasoned request for reimbursement, accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation and including the IBAN on which the amounts to be reimbursed must be credited.

Please note that the payment of licensing documents for the use of motor vehicles, motorcycles, vessels (e.g. licences) must be made to other competent authorities.
