Ensuring the legal quality of the Board’s decisions, assisting and supporting other directorates in addressing legal issues within their jurisdiction, and providing legal opinions on specific matters.
Managing the Authority’s litigation procedures, including the potential exercise of powers under Article 37 (2) (n) of the decree establishing the Authority, and ensuring coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office and the District Attorney’s Offices for the management of these proceedings.
Evaluating preliminary rulings before the Court of Justice of the European Union on matters within the Authority’s remit, in order to draft proposals for legal intervention by the Italian Government, where necessary.
Providing legal support in the preparation of the Authority’s opinions, assisting the relevant directorates as needed.
Identifying significant legal and regulatory issues in areas falling under the Authority’s remit.
