ART Secretary General, Guido Improta (Naples 1966), holds a Master’s degree with honours in Political Science, with specialisation in politics and international relations, and a Master’s Degree in Business Communication. He accrued his professional experience both in public institutions and private companies, in addition to institutional contexts.
He was in charge of public relations for Alitalia (2006-2011), Director General of the Tourist Office of the Municipality of Rome (2000-2006) and manager of the Italian Touring Club (1992-2000).
He was Councillor for Transport and Mobility of Roma Capitale (2013-2015), State Under-Secretary for Transport and Infrastructures under Monti Government (2011-2013), Head of the Legislative office of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge for tourism and major events and Chief Cabinet of the Minister for Arts and Culture during the second Prodi government (2006-2008).
