Venice Santa Lucia railway station. Conclusion of the proceeding initiated by Decision No 15/2018 to ensure full and effective implementation of Measure 10.6.1 of ART’s Decision No. 70/2014
The Authority concluded the proceeding initiated by Decision No 15/2018. The case at issue arose from the request by a railway undertaking to be assigned suitable location for ticketing services at Venice Santa Lucia railway station.
The proceeding was closed, under the Authority’s supervision during the hearing on 12 April 2018, with a negotiated decision reached between the undertakings concerned. The new organisation provides, inter alia, for the implementation of appropriate signalling in the main concourse and at another station entrance and the construction of a further access to the ticket office allowing a clear identification of the different undertakings operating in the station.
Fines ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 € are applied in case of non-compliance, in accordance with the provisions of the Recast Directive.
