Advisory board

Set up pursuant to article 15 of ART Rules on organisation and operation, the Advisory board (AB) provides expert advice on topics identified by the Board of ART. The AB is not involved in the preparation of decisions of the Authority or in its day-by-day activity.

The AB is composed of up to 10 members, designated by the Authority for a three-year mandate among experts with proven experience in the areas falling under its remit. One or more of the members are appointed as coordinators. Express provisions apply to prevent conflict of interest.

Members of the AB contribute their work pro bono. A total of EUR 9,000.00 for the whole AB is budgeted yearly to cover travel, food and accommodation expenses. Each coordinator receives an annual lump-sum of EUR 4,000.00.

The current composition of the AB is as follows:

• Prof.ssa Aurore Laget Annamayer (Université Paris Dauphine, Paris)
• Prof.ssa Rosário Macário (Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon)
• Prof. Juan José Montero-Pascual (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Madrid e Florence School of Regulation, Florence)

The designated coordinator is Prof. Juan José Montero-Pascual.
